FARNHAM KNIGHTS OPEN TRAINING SESSIONS
2nd October 2018
Written by Ben Blundell
At the Farnham Knights, we’re always looking for new players to come and proudly wear the blue and red. Last season was a huge year for our rookie class, with sixteen players pulling on pads for the very first time and many more coming to the Knights from other teams or university ball.
Across Autumn and Winter we’ll be holding open training sessions for potential players, both new and old to the game, whether you’ve played for years or you’ve never held a football. These sessions are for all age levels too, so if you’re in secondary school and looking to get into the game for the first time, or if you’re a seasoned veteran of watching the NFL on a Sunday night, we want to see you on Saturday mornings. For the first time as a club, we are also welcoming female players with a view to starting a women’s team.
All sessions will be from 9am until 12pm on Saturday mornings at Farnham Rugby club and all are welcome. Bring along suitable clothing and footwear for an outdoor training session, plenty of water to keep hydrated, a gumshield, and most importantly bring along your enthusiasm!
See you all Saturday at 9am!
