After two difficult opening games, away at the London Warriors and the London Blitz respectively, the Farnham Knights will be looking for their first win of the 2019 season as the London Olympians make the journey to Monkton Lane on Sunday 19 May 2019.

The Warriors, who are the reigning British champions, put the Knights to the sword as they won 85-0 in week one. The following week Farnham travelled to Finsbury Park and came away with a 41-0 loss. However, despite their pride being bruised, the Knights were able to walk away from both games with no major injuries and have increased preparations for when they play the Os this Sunday, who themselves are coming off the back of a 21-14 loss to the Blitz.

Last season, both games against the Olympians were nail-biting affairs, with Farnham coming close to victory on both occasions. This season, with a number of second year players returning, the team are confident they can go one step further and beat their Premiership South rivals, and with this homecoming fixture the organisation are hoping the fans come out in force to help them do so.

Head Coach, Pete "Too Tall" Fields is expecting an entertaining match, "Last season our games against the Olympians were fast-paced, hard fought and summed up why we deserve our place in the Premiership. They are a well organised team and I always look forward to welcoming them to our ground."

For the debut home game of the 2019 season Farnham are welcoming back old players and are hoping to put on a show off the pitch as well as on it.

"As always, we want to make our homecoming fixture something special, so we'll see some old faces, a new setup live streaming the match and also some entertainment for the fans. It's going to be a great day out for old and new American Football fans."

Kick-off is at 2pm and free parking is available on a first come, first served basis at Farnham Rugby Club.
